The Role:



  • Lead and empower a large cross-disciplinary team: marketing, design, ad product, research

  • Work with senior management to define strategy and deliver against the business objectives for women’s group

  • Create solutions within a diverse portfolio of sites across different categories (food, home, beauty, fashion) and platforms (mobile, social, video)

  • Partner across departments and divisions (magazines, business development, editorial)

  • Be a tireless innovator, cheerleader, and digital advocate

  • Mentor and empower a team of smart, enthusiastic marketers

  • Create and establish communication of our positioning in the marketplace (presentations, materials, research)

  • Supervise the development and progress of key marketing initiatives to ensure the strategy/purpose is achieved

  • Ability to identify products and platform that drive scalable results via internal and external partners

The Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field

  • 10+ years experience with at least 3 years in a management position

  • Exceptional digital knowledge across platforms (desktop, tablet, mobile, social)

  • Advertiser-driven media marketing experience

  • Strong Powerpoint skills; knowledge of comScore, Omniture, @plan; Photoshop and Salesforce a plus

  • Curiosity and intelligence are required; patience and a good sense of humor are preferred
