Paid Digital Media Specialist
Powell Tate/Weber Shandwick is seeking a Paid Digital Media Specialist to join its growing digital communications team in Washington, DC. This is the ideal job for someone who understands the unique and evolving role that paid media plays in successful digital content and engagement strategies that support modern communications campaigns. The Paid Digital Media Specialist will work on integrated campaigns that touch on some of the most pressing issues of our day through the work of our nonprofit, corporate, consumer, association and government clients.The position will act as a subject matter expert on all digital paid media including SEM, social platform advertising and content syndication platforms. The ideal candidate understands how smart use of paid digital media can raise awareness, amplify digital engagement as well as support earned media and improve overall reach. The position also requires a solid understanding of how social media community management works and a deep expertise using paid to support campaigns across various social channels such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+. Job Responsibilities-Experienced client relationship and account manager who can interface with senior level clients and account teams-A firm grasp of digital communications, social media trends and how to deploy them in support of integrated digital campaigns-Experience collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders to advocate for the appropriate paid digital strategy-Serve as lead digital expert to create, optimize and report on all paid media activities across multiple campaigns-Partner with measurement team to develop appropriate benchmarks and measurement plans to evaluate ROI beyond impressions, CTR and conversionsRequired Qualifications:-4-6 years of deep experience working with paid platforms and services like Google AdWords, YouTube, Facebook, Bing, StumbleUpon and Twitter and familiarity with services like Adaptly, Outbrain and Kenshoo-Experience defining, optimizing and reporting on digital paid media efforts for clients in fast paced agency setting-Intricate knowledge of social media channels and digital strategy-An absolute thirst for staying ahead of the curve on paid and social strategies and tactics.-Understanding of analytics and measurement tools required, including integrating ad conversions into analytics packages-Understanding of SEO a plus-Work well with a variety of key internal and external stakeholders-Ability to quickly transition from strategic to hands-on role quickly and efficiently-A fun, collaborative attitudeWeber Shandwick is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
