The Product Marketing Manager is a key member of the Selling on Amazon marketing team responsible for growing Amazon’s merchant business. Your overarching focus will be on improving conversion of sellers while relentlessly focusing on the customer. The Product Marketing Manager uses strong communication, analytical, leadership and project management skills to accomplish the underlying tasks of the position, including:

Collaborate with product teams to develop growth strategies to drive the growth of the Selling on Amazon business
Work with other business partners to perform deep data driven analysis of businesses to surface actionable insights and product requirements
Drive the implementation of recommendations derived from analysis into product features
Partner with technical product managers to identify and influence development of new products, features, and functionalities
Write market, functional and system requirements documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business and development teams
Create sequencing of projects, prioritization and tradeoffs against seller experience
Establish the supporting business metrics and indicators for success
Measure and analyze existing pricing rules for opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to customers
 3+ years in product management and/or project management is required
Bachelor’s degree in either a technology or business discipline
Experience with Excel and Access, or similar database
Experience with SQL
Ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning and task delegation
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results on technical projects
Exceptional communication, analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of the online shopping industry and/or Ecommerce
Experience within a consumer goods/retail company
MBA a plus
