Sales & Business Development Director, CLIO AwardsOverviewThe sales director will lead all sponsorship and business development efforts for the brand. In addition, the sales director should have a working knowledge of the advertising industry including familiarity with the top global agencies, design firms, PR firms and production companies. Key Job Responsibilities:•Calling on senior level decision makers from agencies to brands, maintain and expand the client base of sponsorships•New Business development ideas and research: new events/programs and/or partnerships for the brand•Brand Ambassador: Presentations on the brand to schools and associations to educate and grow brand awareness•Work with the CLIO team on overall sponsorship strategy and brand awarenessJob Requirements/Qualifications:•A personal sales record that shows a consistent ability to develop and maintain lucrative long-term relationships/sales strategies with leading companies•Produce regular activity/contact reports and revenue pipeline estimates•Possess strong negotiation skills•Passionate about the business, creative and curious, and the ability to thrive in a fast-growing, controlled environment•Develop and present customized sponsorship proposals/presentations•Ability to think strategically, develop and implement sales strategies that produce results•Excellent communications and relationship-building skills•Willingness and ability to travel as neededKey Skill/Competencies•Exceptional organizational & multi-tasking skills and financial management•Strong communication skills and ability to effectively work with vendors and clients •Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and other common business software applicationsPrometheus Global Media is a diversified company with leading assets in the media and entertainment arenas, including: Music (Billboard and its related industry conferences and Consumer events), Film (The Hollywood Reporter, Backstage, ShoWest, ShowEast, Cineasia, and Cinema Expo International); and Advertising & Marketing (Adweek, Adweek Conferences, and The Clio Awards).
