Pictela is looking to bring the next generation of advertising analytics to life. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse technologies.
•Develop and deliver extensible reporting solutions based on complex business requirements 
•Design, develop, and maintain the BI infrastructure spanning a broad range of technologies and disciplines (ETL, database, data warehousing, data modeling, reporting, and web) 
•Deconstruct problems, devise analytic solutions and implement solutions to get results quickly
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 4-10 years of directly related experience
•2-5 years of experience as an architect of BI/DW solutions 
•Extensive knowledge and use of star/snowflake schema 
•Experience working with Teradata, Vertica, Greenplum or similar technologies 
•Knowledge of tuning and scaling in a DW environment 
•Knowledge of RDBMS and ETL technologies 
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills

•Broad and deep technical understanding of data processing architectures for Big Data 
•Experience with Hadoop and HDFS, and Hadoop sub projects such as Pig, Hive, HBase or similar technologies 
•Experience with Amazon AWS 
•DBA skills 
•Experience with standard statistical modeling packages such as R or Matlab 
•Familiarity with advertising/media systems is a big plus
