We're seeking a Digital Account Executive to drive advocacy and engagement for clients in our Chicago office.

This individual will provide support to account teams and will immerse themselves in the client’s business and industry. The Account Executive will manage implementation of core public relations program assignments, including research, writing/editing, special events, media relations, budgeting and account administration processes, and set the standard for quality control, creativity and excellence in execution within the agency.

Responsibilities:

•Prepare/review client updates; provide for supervisors for distribution to client
•Participate in client meetings as needed
•Prepare/review conference call or client meeting recap reports
•Draft media materials that follow AP style and are aligned with program strategy set by the senior leadership team
•Secure national and local media placements; be actively involved in media pitching and research
•Understand clients' top-tier media and be able to identify trade and business reporters
•Manage external vendors for projects up to $20,000
•Research industry or program-relevant topics efficiently
•Begin to manage the development of materials, special event logistics and other relevant programming; draft event flow documents, surveys, radio promotions and other materials
•Facilitate purchase order process, expense reporting, and client invoice preparation

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree
•1 to 5 years of related professional experience
