Wine PR Account Executive
Job Description:Media RelationsAlong with the Account Supervisor: - Strategize media relations campaigns/programs- Manage press relations campaigns: research, analysis, strategy, pitching, sample distribution, etc.- Track industry news- Research and write press materials, invitations, ad copy- Develop pro-active editorial pitches, maintain positive relationship with media, foster coverage - Manage press materials production and distribution: releases, invitations, press kits, clippings, etc.- Organize media events: dinners, meetings, interviews, etc. - Update database, research new opportunities- Identify/manage vendorsEvent Production/Promotions- Supervise and organize Road Shows, Promotions, Sommelier programs, etc.- Write and produce collaterals (POP, flyers, etc.), organize distribution, follow-up- Attend events, find and prepare venues, welcome guests - Track events, identify promotional opportunities for clients- Identify VIP speakers- Source/supervise vendorsSocial Media- Experience with applicable social media platforms- Help monitor, interact, update and strategize social media campaigns for multiple clients- Help develop relevant and engaging social media campaigns for clientsClient Relations- Build client confidence through on-going communication and professional work- Write/distribute activity reports- Prepare meetings: agenda, research materials, updates on media/competition, etcNew Business- Identify new business opportunities for agency- Research materials for proposals, write proposals- Write & produce agency materials - Attend trade tastingsRequirements- 4-year college degree, preferably in related field- 3 years Public Relations experience, wine knowledge a plus, wine passion a must!- Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Photoshop, Cision, excellent writing, communication, and presentation skillsInclude cover letter with resume.
