• Job Description o Act as primary liaison with sales to approve all proposals from an inventory perspective and provide alternative solutions as needed

o Help provide accurate forecast levels of all ad impressions available to sales teams. Manage and communicate booked versus available inventory across all ad products

o Analyze current and historical online ad delivery, ad traffic and site profile reports on an ongoing basis to identify trends, predict future inventory needs and provide business intelligence to upper management in order to maximize revenue opportunities

o Utilize statistical analysis to forecast future inventory availability based on historical delivery trends. Develop and document a working knowledge on how reports are generated, the criteria behind the report as well as develop a working relationship with the ad ops team

• Education / Experience: o B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent (in Statistics, Economics or Business, or Computer Science preferred. 3-5 years of experience working for an advertising, media or internet company. 2 years of experience supporting a sales organization. Knowledge and understanding of general business, TV/online landscape, advertising and marketing principles • Computer Skills: o Expert using Microsoft Excel. Experience with one or more Internet ad management or targeted marketing applications (e.g. Omniture, DoubleClick, Freewheel , etc.) required. Multiple applications experience preferred • Other Skills & Abilities Required: o Strong analytical and computer/tech skills. Comfortable working with large data sets to develop and support complex analytical, predictive modeling and forecasting models. Understands demand planning techniques and procedures. Understands site ad functionality, including knowledge of ad products available on the site, general availability and performance of each unit. Proven quantitative ability and excellent Excel spreadsheet skills (pivot tables, macros). Understands the role of inventory and how to plan for sufficient levels of inventory relative to demand variability
