- Develop a compelling global online communications strategy for the brand that effectively leverages brand assets and is sensitive to brand identity

- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop impactful content across existing and new digital and social media platforms (websites, social media, blogs, online publications, etc.)

- Partner closely with Consumer Marketing on an engagement strategy for the most influential bloggers in the beauty space as well as the brand’s Twitter feed

- Continuously seek out opportunities for the brand to engage their very loyal consumer base with new programs, ideas, and concepts establishing them as brand advocates

- Serve as the “host” of the brand’s conversation with its’ sizable global audience on Twitter

- Maintain regular dialogue with the research team to be certain all current data on trends, competitors and consumers is being integrated into the communications strategy

- Meet and communicate regularly with a variety of stakeholders to ensure continuity of brand messaging across multiple media platforms online & offline

- Train global team members on social media “best practices”

- Act as the primary point of contact for all online media inquiries and opportunities for the brand

- Partner closely with graphic and web design teams to develop visual content that is true to brand imaging – while remaining relevant and thought provoking in the digital space

- Bachelor’s degree is a must

- 8 years of progressive Public Relations/Communications experience – with the past 5 years being dedicated online communications

- Exceptional time management, project management and organizational skills

- Manage any external agencies or vendors needed to execute programs

- Manage and mentor junior staff when called upon

- Ideal candidates will have 5 years of current experience specific to the Beauty/Fashion/Lifestyle space

- Demonstrated track record for major brand/editorial success in the digital/social media space

- Proven relationships with a wide array of “e-Influencers”

- Experience crafting content for both “professional partners” and consumers on behalf of major brands is desirable

- Must be a Social Media “guru” with a clear understanding of best practices and a demonstrated track record for engaging and growing an audience

- Show an ability to marry your written content with the brand’s visual identity

- Bring a high level of energy and enthusiasm that takes the communications strategy to the next level
