We are seeking a Media Research Intern to join our Boston mediahub team. Please note this is a course-credit only/non-paying internship.The ideal Media Research Intern would have experience in conducting research, both primary and secondary, as well as a general understanding of marketing and advertising. Knowledge of the media industry is a plus. Responsibilities include: -Aid on research requests for new business, internal client needs and white papers-Ability to sift through information to find reliable data -Summarize findings in clear and concise manner -Facilitate with the administration and development of the proprietary media study-Assist in populating and writing department/client newsletters based relevant articles-Review collection of past research resource contracts and compile an organized and detailed record for historical tracking and future reference.-Analyze other tools on the market and make recommendations on other resources that should be considered. -Maintain department SharePoint site by organizing and archiving current research and best practices as well as updating with new studies and other documents as necessary-Implement new features to support increase usage of the site and better access to/dissemination of information to department i.e. tagging, RSS feeds, etc.Key Qualities: Detail-oriented, organized, curious, analytical mindset and comfort with numbers, strong communication and writing skills

Experience preferred with: Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook email, SharePoint), Kantar Media, IMS interface and media syndicated studies (MRI syndicated research, Telecume), AdRelevance, @Plan, eMarketer, comScoreYou must receive course-credit from your college or university to participate in this internship.
