Temporary Senior Editor - Special Projects
Smithsonian Magazine is seeking a temporary Senior Editor to oversee special projects. The ideal candidate will have outstanding editing and writing skills and at least 5 years experience with kids’ publications. Reporting to the editor-in-chief, the senior editor will develop and conceptualize story ideas; write and edit stories and display copy; and possess keen digital instincts and top-notch research abilities. Versatility, imagination and collegiality are a must. Bachelor’s degree required.
