Publishing Project Manager
RedNova Learning Inc., part of the Macmillan Publishing Group, is looking for motivated Publishing Project Managers to join its new English Language Teaching (ELT) publishing company setting up in Palmetto Bay, near Miami, FL. The role of the Publishing Project Manager is to oversee the processing of commissioned materials to meet the needs of a demanding publishing program. This will involve close liaison with the Commissioning Editor and in-house team to ensure the material meets the needs of the market, is on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess excellent team-working and organizational skills, and be able to demonstrate:- a comprehensive knowledge of editorial processes - strong organizational, project management and administrative skills - the ability to manage a varied and demanding workload - the ability to work on his/her own initiative and as part of a team - strong communication and negotiation skills - a good working knowledge of MS Project - a basic knowledge of web publishing (HTML, CSS, XML, etc) - a basic understanding of content management systems - teaching experience and ideally a recognized TEFL qualification - an interest in Latin American or East Asian culture and education - knowledge of a second language This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a proactive and results focused individual to be a part of our new publishing team as it develops and grows.
