We are currently seeking a Project Manager for Marketing Solutions, our newest initiative which is currently in “start up” mode. This position is located in our office in west Los Angeles, near the Santa Monica border.

The Project Manager is responsible for the efficient delivery of NTM Marketing Solutions’ custom programs, while also contributing to conceptualization, sales and client relationships. The PM leads content & development teams (internal & 3rd party), manages clients’ needs and expectations, and may travel extensively. This position requires the ability to work in a start-up initiative and an inclination for flexibility, creativity, as well as an entrepreneurial approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
•Supports scope development and execution.
•Creates and directs project workflow and deadlines; communicates these consistently and clearly to client contacts; tracks metrics, generate reports, and provide interpretation as needed.
•Manages third party delivery organizations including creative, content, and technology vendors; ensures delivery of high-quality products consistent with MS standards (i.e., excellent creative, on target strategically, and on time and budget).
•Manages vendor identification, review, and selection, including contract negotiation, billing and reconciliation; assists in preparing regular forecasts.
•Communicates among MS departments and with client contacts in order to resolve conflict, celebrate success, and achieve strong team and client relationships; properly interprets client feedback; keeps management apprised of critical client concerns and opportunities.

CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT & SALES
•Contributes creative and innovative ideas; gathers insights, facts and data to enrich the planning and creative processes for the client and MS team.
•Actively participates in strategic and creative client presentations, selling and promoting the MS’s point of view.
•Attends all appropriate client meetings and industry events, reviews market research; and documents all key learning.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•Bachelor’s degree
•7+ years project management, with at least 2 years as an account supervisor reporting to an executive-level manager.
•7+ years marketing or other related disciplines including marketing services OR 3+ years interfacing with travel and travel-related services, including tourism boards, convention and visitor bureaus, hotels/resorts, cruise lines, airlines, rental cars/transportation, meeting planners and travel agents.
•Ability to create and manage budgets, as well as justify projects and vendors numerically using spreadsheets
•Deadline driven approach to program management.
•Proclivity for working in high pressure situations.
•Familiarity with and experience working with technology platforms.
•Understanding of print, digital and event platforms, terminology and workflows.
•Strong verbal and presentation skills to internal and external audiences
•Advanced writing skills
•Strong computer proficiency (i.e. Microsoft Office, SalesForce, etc.)
•Ability to travel up to 30%
•Understand brand strengths & weaknesses, strategic vision and implement in collaboration with account leadership (MS VP, Publishers, sales teams); challenge strategies and directions not aligned with the brand.
