Publir develops content economics technologies for premium digital publications, and welcomes applications from bright, driven individuals to execute sales efforts for its portfolio of political/news websites. You will be responsible for creating and fostering profitable relationships with leading ad agencies and advertisers. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience building a pipeline, closing deals, and working with clients in the online ad sales space.

Publir works with a portfolio of high-traffic websites that generate in excess of one billion ad impressions a month.

Responsibilities include:
  • Proactively develop and maintain an account list while exceeding quarterly and annual revenue goals;
  • Develop sales strategies, respond to RFPs, and generate proposals that our objectives and those of the advertiser;
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance and advertiser goals to ensure client satisfaction;
  • Establish and cultivate strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • At least three years of experience in the online ad sales space;
  • BA/BS in a related field;
  • Ad agency or brand marketing experience is a plus.

The ideal candidate cultivates and maintains a diverse network of agency and advertiser contacts from wherever he/she happens to be, but Publir focuses intently upon news and politics, so candidates with strong networks in Washington, D.C. and New York are particularly welcomed.
