Scripps Networks, home to the Food Network, is seeking a Manager New Business, Experiential, to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for implementing and managing daily marketing and operational elements for new brand businesses. Position will have a primary focus in building and maintaining Food Network’s food service businesses, including those currently in existence within Sports and airports venues.

Responsible for daily operations and oversight of businesses, with a focus on food service and branded guided vacations. Manages business-specific budgets and P&L’s. Works with internal creative services and external agencies to ensure projects have consistent brand messaging, and are delivered on-time and on-budget. Works with Brand team to develop and implement marketing plans in support of local and national businesses. Ownership of projects that include development of online content, video content, business presentations, food service packaging, restaurant and concession design, as needed. Supports Director, New Business on day-to-day business/concept development and operations. Collaborates closely with Director, Culinary Development to develop new and maintain existing food service concepts. Manages routing and approvals of materials developed by internal creative services team and external business partners. Ensures that culinary content is integrated into business concepts. Works with programming department and external partner to facilitate integration of new business/product into Network shows. Ensures marketing priorities remain consistent and are articulated within new business vehicles. Analyzes business sales information and reporting findings to management. Executes market and company research for new business concepts. Tracks and reports on current trends that pertain to Food Network’s new businesses. Ensures legal clearances for all aspects of new business ventures. Manages coordinator-level employees responsible for supporting new business ventures. The right candidate will have 4 to 6 years of demonstrated business operations and marketing skills with emphasis on food service and materials production. Educational or professional experience in hotel, restaurant, food service operations and design is highly desirable. Experience in branding, marketing, media production and creative/packaging design. Demonstrated ability to manage client and/or vendor relationships. Experience in growing businesses in a brand-driven, entrepreneurial and hands-on environment is highly desirable. Possesses strong written and verbal, interpersonal, presentation and quantitative/sales analysis skills. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, with internal and external partners. Knowledge of and ability to utilize research sources, techniques and presentation. Possesses high level of detail-orientation, time management and organizational skills. Ability to work in collaborative environment. Ability to develop and maintain budget and to work under deadline and stress.
