Web Graphic & Content Manager
Creative, big picture, independent thinker with problem-solving skills, strong initiative, sound judgment, communication and team collaboration skills. A combination of editorial and web design savvy, fundamental understanding of content production for the web, a comfort level with emerging Internet technology. 5-7 years industry experience of successful web design, content strategy and management. Strong skills in web design and content management: strong graphic design skills, information architecture; a thorough understanding of user-centered design and web design best practices; proven expertise in managing web content, ability to produce final designs and graphic assets that are optimized for the web; Demonstrated proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience automating print-to-web content migration is a plus. Advanced understanding of HTML/CSS and how it affects UI design and content publishing. Experience using content development tools such as Dreamweaver, Drupal, and WordPress. Hands-on experience WordPress theming is a plus. Understanding of web standards, W3C specifications and browser-specific peculiarities, i.e.knowledge of cross-browser portability problems and solutions. Familiarity with traditional graphic design mediums (ads, brochures, posters, invitations, etc.). Excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills. Ability to build strong working partnership with internal clients. Hands-on experience in large-scale content migration efforts for website design overhauls. Excellent project management fundamentals, including project planning and scheduling, risk management, and project communication required. Ability to establish and strictly adhere to project deadlines.
