Our International Sales department is currently seeking an Associate Sales Rep to sell and market HarperCollins physical and electronic books to our customer base in Latin America, Central Africa, and US Military bases abroad, achieve company sales targets, and establish and maintain excellent working relationships with distributors, retailers and online customers in assigned territory.


Specific Responsibilities:

- Manage sales and marketing of HarperCollins US/UK Group lists into Latin America.
- Manage sales to PMG (US Military bases abroad) and Central Africa.
- Achieve territory sales goals and growth plans.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with existing customer base, and identify potential new customers in the market.
- Work with marketing and publicity team to optimize marketing opportunities in assigned territory, as well as ebook pricing and merchandising opportunities .
- Work independently, and with the Int’l team, to develop innovative sales tools and promotional opportunities with accounts.
- Research and develop Educational channels in the region.
- Travel to key markets 1-2x a year, attend International book fairs, and provide market feedback.


Requirements:

- 2-3 years of related experience required
- International travel and command of Spanish language required. Must be able to travel at least 6 weeks a year
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- A team-player and a self-starter
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
