Monthly primary care medical journal seeks an energetic, well organized, detail-oriented, self starter with a flair for multitasking. Responsibilities include tracking manuscript submissions, coordinating the peer review process, updating journal website, issue preparation, and updating annual health care facility directory. Proofreading and copyediting tasks also involved, as well as writing nonclinical columns for the journal. Strong computer knowledge required including proficiency with Word, Excel, and a Content Management System, as well as familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook. SEO skills and experience a plus. Communications background, prior journal experience, or experience in a related field preferred. Knowledge of AMA Style helpful.
