Responsibilities:

WebMD is seeking an experienced online sales director to join their Consumer Products sales division. The candidate will have demonstrated superior sales growth and leadership. In this role, the successful candidate will lead a team of sales account executives who are responsible for developing new sales opportunities and managing existing program sales with consumer products companies. Since this executive will be responsible for managing and growing some of our largest consumer market strategic accounts with a focus on over-the-counter products, he or she will play an important leadership role within the organization and will make a critical and significant contribution to our sales and revenue success in the future. We are seeking a professional who has experience working with a wide variety of product categories in the consumer products marketplace, and who will be an outstanding senior representative of WebMD to both our client and our agency customers.



Demonstrated history of success obtaining or exceeding attainment goals for an experience sales team
Deep understanding of business need, market objectives and key influencers of target customers
Be able to demonstrably coach, lead and develop a team of sales representatives for success
Foster and maintain a positive/collaborative environment
Ability to navigate internal and external processes from pitch to delivery

Qualifications:

At least 6-8 years selling digital advertising with at least 5 years of sales management experience preferred
Significant experience working with direct advertisers as well as agency experience
Proficiency managing to large OTC strategic accounts preferred
Superior written/verbal communication
Ability to travel a must
Bachelors degree or equivilant experience required
