The B2B Product Consultant will work as part of the Global B2B Product Consultant team providing FT online product training to our business and education clients in the Americas. The Product Consultant team works closely with clients to ensure they are maximising the benefits of FT.com and makes recommendations on tools and content, allowing for relationships to build and ultimately subscription revenues to increase.

You will be an expert on FT.com, both its tools and content, and be the channel of communication between the Financial Times and the B2B clients.

Key Tasks

- To host and arrange training sessions and events with existing and prospective client

- To deliver pre and post sales training in small and large groups, at FT and client sites and via teleconference and web based training

- To collect product and service feedback following training sessions

- To promote customer engagement through analysis of requirements, demonstration of solutions and facilitation of product implementations

- To act as an ambassador for the FT brand in all client communications

- To work closely with customers to understand how they use FT content and tools

- To communicate new product developments to the client base


Essential Skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong organisational skills

- Ability to work on own initiative

- Attention to detail

- Proficient IT skills including good knowledge of Microsoft Office

- A strong customer service ethic

- Excellent written and spoken English

- Experience of working with web-based products

Preferred Skills

- Previous experience in the information or media industry
