Description:American Media, Inc. is looking to recruit Growth Implementation Leaders to drive digital growth across its celebrity and fitness categories. The Growth Implementation Leader will be client focused with excellent business and implementation skills. The candidate will play a critical role in the transforming AMI’s digital business into sites that match the industry leading status enjoyed by AMI’s print publications. Responsibilities:•Lead efforts in building the client relationship in existing and new accounts at all levels. This includes in particular relevant pre-sale activities, building senior management client/partner relationships, qualifying projects, understanding requirements, delivering presentations and proposals and closing new business •Ensure defined sales targets are being hit and surpassed •Actively contribute to the growth of the business through proactively seeking, identifying and supporting sales opportunities •Assist managing clients in scoping and planning multiple projects •Work closely with clients to understand key requirements and strategic direction, translate strategic thinking into actionable goals and design client solutions •Manage and direct staff and contractors on programs/projects to prioritize work tasks, ensure project milestones and deadlines are met, and ensure work products meet quality and budget standards •Direct delivery of programs/projects, ensuring these are completed at or ahead of schedule, costs are managed to budget, and customer expectations are exceeded •Leveraging Best Practices develop over time a World Class operation in the areas of Growth Implementation consulting services in NA •Monitor and direct others to act in accordance with company initiatives, processes and methodology Desired Skills & Experience•Proven business development and sales skills necessary to identify and close large scale opportunities •Proven success and experience with pre-sales activities and account planning •Proven ability to identify and convert client business goals and objectives into solutions •Proven ability to lead large and complex project work streams across a diverse portfolio of clients and industries within the expected delivery excellence parameters •Proven management experience •Strong interpersonal and team management skills •Confident with the ability to present and liaise at senior level •Superior verbal and written communication skills •Excellent facilitation and collaboration skills •Strong financial and business acumen (client business drivers) •Excellent problem identification and problem solving skills •Ability to engage senior client management in discussions regarding our solutions, the client’s industry and business model •Willingness to travel•Exhibited skills in critical thinking and process improvement •Must be a team player and where required be able to work independently Education and Experience: •Minimum of 5 years of digital sales and marketing experience gained with a well known growth digital business, preferabley in the media space. •Ideally direct industry experience in revenue cycle management, operational process improvement, implementation/design, data mining and detailed analytics •Minimum of 5 years experience in the formulation of business processes, project documentation and project methodology •Proven experience in managing client service teams and client relationships •Proven experience & success in a business development/revenue generating rolePlease be sure to include cover letter and salary requirements when responding to this job post.
