The Digital Site Director spearheads all content creation and production for the site that he/she is responsible for managing. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, creative, energetic and experienced individual capable of growing traffic and revenue. The candidate is responsible for strategizing and implementing SEM/SEO efforts, social media, mobile and community programs. The eagerness and ability to seek out and form smart partnerships and alliances to take the digital site to the next level is a must, as is an understanding of analytics (Google Analytics, Chart Beat, etc). He/she has experience creating custom solutions for advertisers and will regularly liaise with the digital ad sales and marketing teams. The Digital Site Director reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with him/her on branding initiatives, as well as on cross-promotions with print and other brand extensions.


•5+ year’s experience in web production
•Experience with Drupal CMS or similar content management systems is key
•Experience with HTML is important and familiarity with CSS is a plus
•Experience directing and managing large complex projects and experience supervising and/or leading other professional level IT staff is required.
•Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers and department staff, as described above.
•Must possess the ability to effectively communicate with others, perform work in a team environment, and relay necessary information as appropriate.
