The Associate Digital Marketing and Planning Manager is a hybrid role.

This individual will report into the Dir. of Digital Business Development & Marketing Strategy, work alongside the Digital Media Planners and be responsible for working with Sales, Product Development and Marketing to create compelling digital marketing programs and robust media plans for digital advertisers.

Digital Marketing and Planning Responsibilities:

•Managing MRF System (Marketing Request Forms) and partaking in group brainstorming sessions with the intention of bringing great ideas to life
•Creating budgets for custom programs & client proposals
•Writing up custom programs and any applicable digital proposals as requested by manager
•Working with sales to create cohesive proposals and media plans that meet the objectives of client requests/in response to RFPs
•Working with integrated and brand marketing teams to build out multi-platform programs and any large scale digital programs
•Develop strong, creative and effective media plans and decks based on strategies and available inventory on THR
•Creating turn-key programs with accompanying one sheets, decks and plans (seasonal programs, category specific, etc.)
•Working with creative services to ensure mocks illustrate concepts
•Researching new marketing strategies and technologies
•Managing digital marketing and sales folders (templates, forms, idea banks, etc.) and keeping things current & up-to-date/accessible
•Work with research team and management to maintain accurate online media kits, one sheets, digital capabilities decks and FAQs for advertisers
•Pull research and competitive intelligence as requested
•Coordinate special requests, contest pages, approvals, etc. with sales, marketing and product development
•Analyze & create campaign recaps for clients, agencies, sales team
•Cover for media planners when needed and requested from management
•Generate reports as requested


Job Requirements and Qualifications:
• Knowledge of the online advertising industry
• Extremely organized and an exceptional multi-tasker
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills - delivers information in a clear and concise manner.

• Ability to work independently - pays attention to detail and delivers ‘client ready’ work (plans and decks) that have been proofread and formatted appropriately.
• Time Management - able to work under tight deadlines/quick project turnarounds, in a fast paced environment. Uses downtime effectively and efficiently.
• Available and able to attend meetings or work events if needed/requested by management
• Minimum 2 years digital planning experience at an agency or online publisher – combination preferred
• Minimum 1 year digital marketing experience at an agency or online publisher
• Advanced computer knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Photo Shop, CRM, Google Docs, comScore, @plan, Magazine Radar, etc.)
• Experience with third party ad servers and systems (dart, MediaVisor)
• Experience across all things digital: web, mobile, social, app, tablet and video
• BS / BA degree required
