- Ideal candidates should possess experience in sales and marketing, be goal oriented, and have strong customer service skills with the ability to establish, develop and maintain
professional relationships with advertisers.
- Applicant must have a minimum two to four years of directly related sales experience, preferably in publications and/or other media, with a demonstrable record of success.
- This position must achieve and increase advertising sales revenue (including online) with existing and new accounts.
- Candidate must learn and then have a thorough understanding of the market and the Serendipity Marketing packages sold in order to create professional and effective proposals
as well as create and produce advertising layouts that are both attractive and result oriented.

A college degree or the equivalent is expected. Candidates must also be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Web and Event Sponsorship sales is an important component of the position. As a result, the applicant should be able to demonstrate an ability to integrate print, networking events, and web sales effectively on behalf of the client and the magazine.
