We are now seeking a high caliber publicist to fill the following vacancy in our New York team:

  • Pitch Wall Street Journal stories on the subjects of Greater New York, Arts, Real Estate, Sports and fashion/lifestyle to TV and radio outlets in the New York area
  • Schedule large volumes of interviews daily
  • Build relationships with producers externally, and reporters internally – in order to increase the Wall Street Journal’s exposure in these categories
  • Write press releases as well as maintain other publicity materials including bios and boilerplates
  • Primary contact for incoming broadcast media requests for related topics
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • 1-3 years experience within the media industry
  • Passion for news and understanding of broadcast culture
  • Skilled writer
  • Experience in fashion PR a plus
