Job Overview:
The Project Manager role is a highly cross-functional role overseeing updates to Coach.com. The Project Manager represents the business needs to various parts of the organization and seeks to understand and establish priorities.


Responsibilities:
Monthly Site Updates

  • Gather needs from cross-functional partners including, but not limited to, merchandising, creative, marketing and IS for monthly site releases
  • Document business requirements and develop briefs for all business needs
  • Work with IS to finalize, review and approve requirements documentation
  • Prioritize numerous requests by understanding business needs and constraints
  • Work with creative team to obtain comps and assets for any visual design or copy needs
  • Assist with daily questions and requirements related to build items
  • Track tickets from time of entry through full life cycle of development, QA, UAT and deployment


New Projects and Site Maintenance

  • Troubleshoot day-to-day site issues through to resolution
  • Work with various cross-functional partners to execute various projects on the site
  • Develop schedules for new initiatives
  • Manage projects from start to finish as well as assisting on larger projects
  • Assist cross-functional partners with various tasks/issues
  • Utilize existing systems to accomplish tasks, e.g.,Scene7, Silver Bullet, CMC, bug tracking system, Omniture
  • Create process documents for site maintenance


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-7 years of project management experience in e-commerce, online agency or other related company
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with various departments and different cultures
  • Ability to learn front-end and back-end site structure
  • Understanding of standard web technology, e.g.,Flash, HTML5, JavaScript. This role does not require any coding but basic knowledge of technology is needed to understand and propose solutions.
  • Successful at multi-tasking and proactive in nature, prioritize multiple deliverables and able to adjust to changing priorities
  • Occasional work required outside of traditional business hours
  • Knowledgeable of e-commerce and online space, e.g., social media, mobile, tablet. Curiosity of new companies, tools, platforms, browsers, etc. that could impact the business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Project and Visio a plus
