SUPERVISING PRODUCER

TMZ LIVE-- A celebrity-driven news/talks show that airs in 7 Fox Markets and will go national next September - is on the hunt for a Supervising Producer.

The Supervising Producer will have outstanding story/show sense; be an effective manager; and be a skilled leader of a small production team. Candidates must have experience producing news in mid to major markets. We’re looking for an inspired candidate with the right vision and sensibility to produce an innovative new show in a multifaceted, fast-paced, production environment. This position is located in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities:
•Lead the daily production of TMZ Live from concept through execution
•Run daily pitch meetings in order to generate show topics and the show rundown
•Oversight of the production team in preparation and execution of the daily show for broadcast on both the TMZ website and on-air
•Uphold standards of journalistic integrity and quality
•Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
•Ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a news producer or news associate producer
•Must have experience working in a fast-paced, breaking news environment
•Must have excellent leadership, written and verbal communication skills
•Must have excellent news judgment with knowledge of current events and experience with effective news storytelling ability
•Must be proficient in news production tools and have an understanding of news production techniques
•Must be able to work well under pressure alone, and as a team leader
•Must have excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work a flexible schedule
•Must have the ability to identify problems and develop solutions as well as the ability to coach and train team member
