TMG, based in Washington, D.C., one of the country’s leading custom-media firms, seeks a savvy marketing professional to manage and execute the marketing elements of our business development programs. This is a dynamic position that requires a strategic mind combined with relentless execution.

The Marketing Manager will be a key member of the TMG marketing department. This is a hands-on position, which will require a strong work ethic and a passion for generating and executing on lead generation strategies and tactics. In addition, the successful candidate will create client-specific presentations and proposals, and will assist in the general marketing efforts of TMG.

Responsibilities are distributed across the following areas:

•Support of sales in the form of strategies and winning presentations, research coordination, proposals and case studies
•Collateral creation, including PPT and Keynote presentations, website content management, and advertisements
•Planning, execution, and measurement of lead generation campaigns, to include messaging and creative development, plus segment analysis and research
•Managing ad buys, conference involvement and sponsorship participation, and vendor relationships
•Awards nominations
•Social media strategy and execution
•TMG event planning and management

Candidates will be called upon to demonstrate relevant experience and accomplishments.

•An agency background is strongly preferred
•3+ years of marketing/sales experience
•Bachelor’s degree
•Collaborative attitude
•Proficiency in lead generation and tracking
•Strong writing skills (print and online environments)
•Ability to create compelling and attractive sales presentations
•Strong organizational skills
•Time management skills/ability to multi-task
•Awareness of social media trends and their applications
•Proficiency with common sales/marketing tools (e.g., Microsoft PPT, Keynote,, MailChimp)
•Must be extremely hands on and a self-starter that requires minimal direction
•Keen attention to detail
•The ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines as well as the ability to take on new tasks while managing day-to-day responsibilities
•Demonstrated experience with creative messaging, planning and execution
