We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our high-performing National Sales team as a Sales Assistant supporting our National Sales team. The primary duties for this position include the following:

•Interface with clients via phone, e-mail and in-person.
•Assemble sales kits, and promotional materials for client mailings and sales functions.
•Handle day-to-day administrative including conference calls, calendar management and expense reports.
•Manage Client Database, responsible to process prospects and create database of client and public relations contacts, coordinate client contracts.
•Provide general administrative assistance to sales and editorial teams.
•Organize and maintain file system for sales department.
•Gather competitive data for Sales, using Magazine Radar tool.
•Assist with national sales and corporate accounts: coordinate and prepare for client meetings, communicate with client directly, process contracts, ensure sales contracts are fully completed and accurately entered into the sales system.
•Help field and direct responses to all media-related inquiries, and support marketing and advertising personnel to coordinate events with promotional and sales activities.
•Assist with preparation and presentation of product or service information at company and client events.
•Other duties as assigned.

•Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Minimum one year prior experience working in a print media environment.
•High level of proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Proven ability to multi-task, and work under deadline pressure.
•Ability to operate office equipment such as fax machine, photo copier.
•Ability to operate a computer and Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
