Fashion Editor, Cosmo for Latinas
We are currently seeking a hands-on, energetic fashion editor to produce the entire front of book fashion section (Stylista), style the feature-well fashion story, and develop fun new ideas and concepts. This position is freelance, approximately 10 weeks of work spread out over 4 months. Responsibilities * Pitch and develop unique, Latina-centric ideas for fashion* Stay abreast of Latino fashion trends, designers and bloggers* Manage key editorial relationships and contacts, including attending relevant events Qualifications* Track record of excellence and leadership in editorial* At least two years of experience at an established publication* Strong industry contacts in the luxury and contemporary markets* Experience managing editors/writers* Experience managing digital publishing* Knowledge of Latino designers, both established and emerging* A strong understanding of the Cosmo brand, voice and style, and the ability to spot, write and edit it* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, including managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously* A sharp sense of humor* An obsession to find perfection* Persistence and curiosityAlong with your resume, please send us the following at firstname.lastname@example.org:* Clips of fashion stories that you’ve styled* A cover letter about why you are perfect for this job* A clever fashion story that you’ve seen recently that you wish you had produced, that is closest to your voice.* Provide answers to the following: 1.
