Senior Sales Manager - AmazonLocal
Based out of our Dallas offices, we are looking for an experienced Sales Leader to build and grow a sales team to increase AmazonLocal's presence across the Central Region of the United States. The ideal candidate is an advertising sales leader with a terrific reputation for hiring and developing the best talent and launching local sales teams from the ground up.
Strategic Objectives
· Attract, hire and develop a sales team to consistently exceed sales goals by demonstrating a thorough understanding of the AmazonLocal products and business model, as well as, the local marketplace landscape.
· Develop and implement the overall sales strategy for the Central Region, along with setting aggressive goals to ensure continual growth across all covered regions.
· Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline for all regions
· Identify and develop sales opportunities and long-term strategic relationships with key accounts. Keep apprised of current market changes and competitive trends, to ensure maximum revenue is achieved.
· Promote partnerships across the AmazonLocal organization to ensure that sales and merchant needs are best represented within the business.
· Foster innovation and enhancement to existing products, as well as, help create additional advertising opportunities to further increase merchant performance and company revenue.
· Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend custom optimized media solutions.
· Ensure that our clients continually receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.

  • 10+ years in sales
  • 5+ years leading a team of 30+
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience leading both inside and outside sales teams
  • Proven track record of building a sales organization from scratch
  • Understanding of local commerce or start-up business experience
