Responsible for all areas of administration for Bi-weekly Corporate Payroll (Enter, balance/reconcile, distribute).

New hire and payroll data entry, personal changes and special payments.

Process supplemental payrolls

Work independently with ADP to resolve inquiries, tax issues, etc.

Set-up Child Support/Garnishment Orders.

Process stop Payments/Manual Checks/Direct deposit rejects.

Complete state unemployment paperwork

Annual EEOC reporting, workman’s compensation reporting analysis and all other ad hoc reporting as assigned

Process all new-hire and exiting employee forms.

Maintain personnel data: processing employee data change forms, track exiting dates for temporary employees, maintain records for PTO (Paid Time Off), etc.

Responsible for the administration of employee benefits, i.e. enrolling new-hires, deactivating terminated employees in various benefits programs, processing qualifying event requests, short/long-term disability request, in the respective benefits systems/databases. 401 enrollment, Employee Gym Membership Program administration, process any work compensation claims

Responsible for maintaining benefit files and correlating documents.

Prepare reports on total employee benefit contributions for Payroll Department.

Phone screening, preliminary phone interviewing for candidates

Posting of open positions on job boards and websites, maintaining sites

4-5 years experience processing a multi-state payroll.
Experience with ADP payroll systems is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills – is outgoing and interacts well with others.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage confidential information.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Possess self-confidence and ability to problem solve.
