Advertising Sales Rep - East Coast
This is an independent sales position, representing the print and digital assets of a national media company. You’ll be given a viable list of non-endemic accounts with a proven track record of spending advertising dollars in the category. Compensation is commission only and there are no health benefits. JOB REQUIREMENTS- Minimum two years proven sales success, selling digital and print advertising- Reliable and self motivated to work independently without direct supervision - Excellent written and oral communication skills- Ability to create multi-platform media solutions that are aligned with client goals - Strong interpersonal, planning and organization skills- Experience in prospecting/cold calls for new business with the diligence and persistence to stay with the account and earn the business- Enthusiastic personality and strong work ethic- Must provide your own office equipment (computer, printer, telephone). - Company provides all sales collateral, access to industry research (MRI, ABC), media kits, etcCOMPENSATION / BENEFITSThis home-office position can be located anywhere in the United States, although your territory business hours will be Eastern Standard Time. There are no medical benefits with this position. A healthy commission of 12-17% will be paid for all business sold. To say, “the sky is the limit” is true. However, realistically speaking, the territory will more likely payout between $35K-$50K in commissions, with an experienced salesperson earning upwards of $75K in the first year.
