The Role
This senior leadership position, reporting to the global head of Bloomberg's web businesses, will oversee all strategic planning and strategic initiatives for Bloomberg's global consumer web sites, including Bloomberg.com and Businessweek.com.

-Direct strategic planning and prioritization process: overall prioritization, cross-functional resource allocation, revenue & cost modeling, KPI development/tracking. Coordinate across Bloomberg LP (e.g., Bloomberg Professional® Service, Bloomberg Television, Bloomberg Radio, Bloomberg Mobile, Bloomberg Businessweek Magazine, etc.) to establish the Web Team's goals and initiatives and align them with Bloomberg LP's broader priorities.
-Lead key strategic web initiatives. Develop actionable recommendations and plans to differentiate Bloomberg's web properties in the marketplace, expand market share, and accelerate revenue growth. Collaborate closely with multiple departments (e.g. Marketing, Finance, Edit, Product, R&D, etc.) to execute effectively against plan.
-Oversee analytics to drive strong management decision-making and high performance in budgeting, pricing, sales, product and investment decisions. Identify and synthesize key market trends and competitive developments to inform the Web Team's business decisions.

-10+ years recent and relevant experience in digital media and/or news media industry
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; MBA preferred
-Strong knowledge of and experience with online advertising sales and operations, online content, and media technology
-A track record of high performance and success in planning, strategy, and achieving business goals
-Demonstrated ability to thrive in small, tight-knit teams as well as large corporate environments
-A track record of building collaborative relationships with stakeholders across many functions
