Job Description:
•Write 3/week issues of FierceCMO, including news stories on marketing, advertising, lead generation, and marketing technology with a business-to-business marketing audience in mind.
•Create special features and articles for the publication and Web site, as per the editorial calendar you help develop.
•Conduct 8+ media briefings per month with key players in the industry.
•Organize and moderate editorially driven webinars.
•Attend key conferences and trade shows as the public face of FierceCMO to cover news from the show, take briefings, and moderate panels and events.
•Actively engage and build audiences through social media.

•5+ years editorial experience covering marketing, advertising and/or marketing technology required.
•Technical knowledge of marketing technologies as well as the ability to understand the business implications of those technologies.
•Ability to create original content and topics that will resonate with readers.
•Must be able to work independently to achieve deadlines.
•Positive attitude, outgoing personality, “fierce” work ethic.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on establishing the appropriate “voice” with readers.
•Track record of achieving results.
•Internet-journalism savvy and experience, including social media.
