• The weekly food page: The food editor would come up with ideas for, assign, edit, and close Parade's weekly food page, which usually includes a recipe (or recipes), tips, and new products.
• Parade cover stories: The editor would oversee a handful of cover stories, on subjects like Super Bowl food, profiles of popular chefs, the culture of tailgating, and summer grilling how-tos, as well as ideas that fall under Parade's "What America Eats" rubric (great road-trip food, the best American pies by region, etc.)
• Dash: The editor would oversee our monthly food magazine, coming up with story ideas; assigning, writing or editing the text; going on the food shoots; writing display; and closing the issues, which are generally about 10 edit pages.
• Digital SIPs: The editor would also oversee four digital SIPs in the coming year, outlining the content; assigning, editing or writing the text; going on food shoots; and working with the designer to create an appealing product.
