We are a leading and fast-growing network of social fashion shopping sites with 8 million visits per month to, a division of the Sugar Inc. worldwide women's media network.

You are a skilled and driven web developer with background in Java applications and serious front-end chops working on dynamic consumer experiences.

Together we're building the next generation of social shopping with the best quality content and user experience in the market. We're looking for a leader to help us design, drive and build: interactive search and real-time filtering; mobile shopping; great social and sharing features; a killer API and widget program; international content; scaling, performance, big data, and much more.


* Build Java-based web applications, from the front end to the business and data layers.
* Design and implement front-end features with rich dynamic web experiences.
* Contribute to weekly product releases, code reviews, with a small and dynamic engineering team.


* BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
* Minimum 3 years Java programming experience shipping commercial web applications.
* Experience with one or more web application frameworks.
* Experience with html, css, javascript and ajax development.
* Passion and skills in user experience, web design and building excellent solutions.

Ideally you have:

* Leadership experience or the desire and ability to influence your peers.
* Experience with relational databases.
* Experience with Lucene or other search frameworks.
