Account Director
Conde Nast seeks an Account Director for a full-time staff position.  
The Account Director generates advertising pages/revenue and digital revenue by identifying prospects, developing strategic plans, preparing presentations, negotiating program packages and schedules, and communicating results or problems to management. He/She maintains and expands the advertising client base for the Southeast territory, and part of the food category.  The director is responsible for developing and maintaining good relationships with key advertising decision makers. This individual represents the company at industry events and while traveling to promote business where appropriate and completes all forms and processes paperwork for assigned accounts.
Primary Responsibilities
-         Selling advertising across all platforms, including print, digital, mobile and event-based programs to drive revenue growth
-         Working with the team to create and deliver creative solutions for clients while maximizing sales efforts
-         Managing and nurturing existing client relationships and fostering new relationships
-         Managing all aspects of the sales communication and negotiation process
 SELF’s ideal candidate is a competitive, resourceful self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can flourish even under tremendous pressure and volume. They must have an exception track record for consistently exceeding sales targets and managing complex and demanding client relationships.  This candidate should like to have some autonomy but can also work well with other people and departments.
Additional Requirments –
  • Print, digital and mobile sales experience
  • Creative, compelling and persuasive presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strategic, consultative selling experience with proven ability to navigate large and complex deals
  • Strong creative thinking and interpersonal/communication skills
  • Bachelors Degree
