About the Job
Our team is looking for a seasoned communications expert who will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to manage EverFi’s communications and media outreach strategy. They will work across multiple business lines to position and evangelize EverFi’s unique offerings and continue to establish the company as a market leader. The role requires an experienced and energetic candidate with demonstrated ability to create a groundswell of awareness, media coverage and measurable brand consideration.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive public relations plans that build media exposure, influence positive branding, and increase thought leadership and lead?generation.
  • Nurture and grow key media relationships and frequently pitch top tier, technology and education media.
  • Coordinate development of frequent press releases and media advisories for EverFi and also partner on outreach initiatives with client media teams.
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with external public relations agencies while monitoring progress against the overall work plan and budget.
  • Assist with the development of internal and client/partner communications strategies.
  • Coordinate executive schedules for media appearances, client events and press tours.
  • Track relevant industry news, and package and distribute information to employees.
  • Develop and manage analyst relations program with an emphasis on increasing thought leadership and corporate awareness.
  • Lead strategy development and manage day-to-day corporate social media activities including prominent social networks.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the company blogs including coordination of an editorial schedule, development of content and nurturing of relationship with external blogs.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Public Relations or related area.
  • 5+ years direct work experience in Public and Analyst Relations preferably with an agency as well as in-house.
  • Proven experience writing press releases, blogs, by-lined articles, speeches, presentations and conference pitches.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple?constituents, including peers, senior management, and executive management.
  • Excellence in verbal and written communication, presentation skills and relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, self-start and contribute under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Technology or Education industry experiences a plus, but not required.
  • Willingness to travel.
