Your tasks
The Digital Marketing and Channel Development Group is seeking a New Account Development Manager to join their team. Individuals in this position will perform all duties and responsibilities required to work with prospective digital accounts and publishing divisions. Additionally, this position will work on new business models, direct to consumer fulfillment, business development and special projects.

Additional responsibilities include:

?Research & follow technology, marketing trends and publishing industry related news with an interest in digital development
?Examine new digital accounts and provide initial assessments to larger team. Bring viable partners on board in various markets (retail, wholesale, library, academic) and assess potential accounts through research, phone and face-to-face conversations with the account contacts
?Maintain collection of necessary documents for new accounts (terms of sale, on-boarding instructions, FAQs) and account pipeline database. Update as appropriate
?Guide potential accounts through the New Account set-up process, including Credit Check, ONIX Setup, FTP testing, A/R testing, etc (will require a great deal of communication/coordination across multiple groups)
?Work closely with group to investigate and develop new business models, track competitive models and be an expert on new marketplace developments.
?Drive new programs from conception to launch, and beyond.
?Work as a project manager across sales, marketing, publishing, legal and technical teams.

Our requirements
Ideal candidate should regularly read articles and blogs related to the business and have a passion for digital products, online marketing, and merchandising along with a willingness to extend skills and learn about new technologies and trends. Excellent communication and writing skills is required. Must be detail and numbers-oriented as well as organized and able to prioritize a busy workload in a multi-task environment. Strong interpersonal skills are required as there will be extensive contact with customers, Westminster staff, NY office staff, direct and indirect account contacts. Finalist will have a strong understanding of online, and incorporates online phenomena such as social networking sites and blogs into everyday life.

Minimum of 5 years related work experience is required. On-line experience is a plus. College degree or equivalent preferred. Knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) is a must.
