Director of Digital/Social will lead Scratch’s digital and social team, driving our understanding of the space as well as executions for clients and Scratch itself. This includes: understanding digital strategies, key dynamics, and existing and emerging platforms; overseeing executions in the digital and social space; and channeling expertise within Scratch and Viacom to deliver solutions to our clients. This capability will be highly integrated into Scratch activities across its insights, production, events and other functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client strategies and executions: serve as thought-leader and implementer for digital and social topics to support Scratch clients. This includes: developing appropriate strategies and implementing executions for clients’ digital needs (e.g., digital elements of a creative campaign, internal blogs, social media strategy), always refining methodologies and best-practices that define the Scratch approach

• Scratch digital and social media presence: in coordinating with the Scratch executive team, define Scratch’s digital and social media presence, including its strategic plan and execution (blog, website, social media channels, etc.)

• Capacity development: continually develop expertise on the latest digital and social tools and platforms and interpret their relevance to our partners’ businesses

• Knowledge sharing: share expertise within Scratch and more broadly across Viacom, as well as externally for clients and via the Scratch blog

• Team leadership: provide support, professional development and training to the Scratch team and clients with regards to digital platforms and tools
