JOB DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Vice President responsibilities include:

- Provide administrative assistance to the Vice President and back-up support to the Senior Director of Publicity and Public Relations.
- Maintain all departmental files and records.
- Interact with other departments at Lincoln Center, the public and the media.
- Review all vendor invoices and processing for payment.
- Track budget and preparing monthly departmental accruals.
- Responsible, along with Associate Director of Public Relations and Senior Manager, for populating various digital channels. Occasionally edit content for media/web use, including Tumblr.
- Provide general departmental administrative support including answering phones, ordering supplies, and tracking departmental weekly attendance, internet research and press list management and mailings.
- Event photography.
- Manage press ticket book for performances.
- Traffic press releases to final posting on web.
- Caption photos in media room on website and fulfill requests for photos.
- Editing and publishing LincInk.
- Maintain video library.
- Coordinating video photography shoots on campus.
- Assisting with press conferences/photo calls.


- Administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent administrative skills and computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HTML language.
- Familiarity and/or hands on experience with Final Cut Express/Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, and other digital content creation tools, as well as knowledge of Cision, and/or other content management systems strongly desired.
- Solid experience in utilizing social media as an outreach tool.
- Must exhibit excellent judgment and flexibility and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and establish priorities.
- Must be extremely organized and detail oriented and be able to work effectively under pressure of deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to exercise tact and discretion at all times.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be available to work overtime as circumstances dictate.
- Excellent communication skills.
- BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
