The Graphic Designer/Creative Director will be a part of the Marketing group, reporting directly to the CMO. In this role, you will be responsible for numerous creative projects for the larger corporation, as well as for individual business units and industry verticals. You will need the ability to maintain and uphold branding standards, as well as suites of materials from concept through completion. You should be comfortable managing scheduled and recurring tasks along with unplanned and rush projects, while maintaining an acute attention to detail. Experience creating brand-encompassing style guidelines is a plus. The preferred location is New York City, N.Y. Please note that this position may be a contract hire. Paid relocation is not available for this position.

The Graphic Designer/Creative Director will be expected to own, refine, and maintain the “look and feel” of the firm’s marketing materials and brand presence, including the website(s), marketing brochures and collateral, Thought Leadership publications, and event-related invitations and signage.

Basic Requirements
•A minimum of 10 years of professional graphic design experience with at least 7 in marketing and is required.
•A Bachelors or Associates degree in graphic design or a Bachelors degree in marketing with relevant graphic design experience is preferred.
•Experience developing, and executing the design of full suites of marketing materials and editorial publications for print, email, web, and mobile.
•Artistic translation of brand strategy into creative and brand-right marketing collateral and campaigns for professional services firms.
•Ability to present creative ideas to management for assigned projects and influence the decision-making process to promote marketing initiatives and branding requirements.
•Ability to manage and complete projects as an individual or as a part of a team.
•Candidate must have strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to collaborate and interact with all roles within the Marketing team, including but not limited to; special events, intellectual capital, digital, etc. with domestic and international counterparts for reoccurring and special projects.
•Expertise in website development, design, and maintenance.

Graphic Design Requirements
•Strong Adobe CS5.5+ InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator skills
•Strong typographic skills, true understanding of type hierarchy and structure
•"Keen eye" and exceptional design talent with strong drawing skills
•Ability to apply constructive criticism to work to achieve strong and successful designs
•Experience with mobile design is a plus
•Experience with infographics is a plus
•Knowledge of Dreamweaver and HTML5/CSS is a plus
•Experience designing web applications is a plus.
•Experience with print media
•Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to apply creative skills to a strong and historic professional-services brand
•Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of design trends and techniques
•Keep up with current trends in advisory/consulting services marketing
