Assistant will work alongside the film's Producer, Kurt Pitzer, and Writer/Director Kimberly Levin in all aspects of social media marketing, press kit development, event planning and the completion and roll-out of this acclaimed independent feature film. The position requires the equivalent of at least two full days a week, with flexible hours. Candidates must be able to travel to Williamsburg in Brooklyn. The term of the internship is through summer 2013, and we expect the Assistant to be with us through the exciting premiere of the film and beyond. The position will include some clerical tasks. Producer and Director have projects set up at HBO and Johnny Depp’s company, Infinitum Nihil, and are continually developing new work. Depending on her or his background, Assistant may be asked to conduct original research for upcoming screenplays and literary projects. Candidates should have strengths in more than one of the following:-Writing-Social media: Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Vimeo-Design, web design- Research-Any or all: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro 7.0, Compressor, DVD Studio Pro-Organizational skills – scanning, filing, etc-People and phone skillsThis is an unpaid position.
