Foreign Rights Assistant - part-time
ABRAMS is seeking an organized, detailed-oriented individual, with the ability to work independently, to provide part-time clerical and administrative support to the Foreign & Subsidiary Rights department. Individual will be responsible for drafting contracts and following through to execution; collect, copy and uploading sales materials; updating sales charts and purchase order reports; entering data in a royalty system; following up on review material sent to clients; soliciting submissions to book club buyers; liaising with book clubs on their administrative needs; preparing fact sheets and researching competing titles within international markets; preparing digital presentation materials for international rights fairs; answering website email requests.This is a part-time position, 2 1/2 - 3 days per week, $18 per hour.Qualifications: high school diploma; associate's degree preferred; bachelor's degree strongly preferred. One year previous work experience. Knowledge and interest in the international publishing field a plus.
