Condé Nast seeks a Senior Manager of Brand PR for a full-time staff position.

The driving factor for success in this job is generating quality press and brand awareness for all brand platforms - the magazine, the website, the tablet, the Bon Appétit Culinary Line available exclusively on HSN, events and business initiatives.
This position oversees day-to-day operations of the department in order to meet the strategic goals of the division and serve as a vital member of the Bon Appétit team.
This position supervises the department assistant and works closely with the department head on all ventures

Primary Responsibilities:
•Must be constantly reading food, pop culture, fashion and media blogs and developing pitches based on what’s in the news that ties back to the brand
•Must be able to execute creative and original publicity campaigns from idea generation to media placement
•Responsible for promoting editorial, marketing, advertising and business initiatives with sophisticated and authoritative pitches
•Must be well versed in all cultural trends
•Generate constant buzzzzzz about the brand through creative, imaginative and fun pitches that speak to the reporters’ personalities and the BA brand.
•Entertain the press and befriend new media contacts daily

•College degree required
•5 + years of experience in food, fashion, hospitality, restaurant or entertainment PR essential
•A love of food and culture
•Sense of humor with an ability to put stressful situations into context
•Publicity driven with a nose for news and trends
•Strong relationships with food, fashion, hospitality, restaurant or entertainment press
•Excellent social media skills
•Team player with an ability to envision the big picture while focusing on the details
•Excellent written, verbal and diplomatic skills
•Strong organizational skills that allow for multitasking and meeting all deadlines
•Must be able to work quickly and effectively. No typos.
