The Manager of Social Media will be charged with implementing social media and public relations strategies; generating awareness for clients’ brand, tracking results and completing analytics of recommended programs and online presence specific social campaign. A key part of this role will be cultivating a social media relationships i.e. Bloggers and professional industry organizations. This role will be performed within the Public Relations function area headed by the Partner/Chief Communications Officer. He/she will work across key function areas with agency account team members relevant to agency clients’ social media initiatives. He/She will also oversee d expósito & Partners online presence.
•Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy and defining marketing techniques that increase visibility and traffic for the agency clients
•Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities.
•Develop content: writing editorials, community-outreach efforts, promotions etc.
•Become a brand shepherd agency’s client(s) brands, social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering user questions, where appropriate
•Manage clients’ bloggers programs, build an active brand ambassadors network to spread positive conversations and establish symbiotic relationships with audiences.
•Set benchmark for recommended social media programs.
•Analytical review and monthly report preparation measuring the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
•Serve as community manager of social networks such as: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and others. similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed
•Stay ahead of trends; forecast the next big thing, social media policies and governing regulations.
•Recommend applications and/or tools within the social media discipline to ensure that the agency is evolving and current.
•Experiment and come up with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities
•Strategize with and inform the internal teams to incorporate relevant social media techniques into the agency’s corporate culture. When applicable, to the agency’s client, their products and services.

•5 to 7 years of social media experience at an agency grounded in public relations discipline.
•Have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Flickr, etc.) and how to effectively use in different situations
•Strong writing and communications skills. Ability to create content that is engaging and inspires action. Should have a portfolio of work.
•Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas both verbally and in written form.
•Have good knowledge of principles of SEO and SEM. Basic CSS, HTML and CMS skills is a plus.
•Bachelor of Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.
•Demonstrate an extensive social media presence, be well connected with the broader social media world, and be an active participant in a wide variety of social media activities such as blogging, community development and management, social bookmarking, and commenting.
•Have strong project management, leadership and organizational skills. Be able to think strategically.
•Must be a team player, with the confidence to take the lead and provide strategic insight to d expósito & Partners management team, when applicable
•Knowledge of Radian6. Demonstrate technical understanding and the ability to pick up new tools quickly
•Demonstrate the ability to network and build relationships
•Fully bilingual in both oral and written English and Spanish
