To ensure the ongoing optimal use of key features and the overall good standing of our account, this individual must proactively manage the vendor relationship and keep abreast of the platform roadmap.

As a central role, this position requires the ability to work across many functions and groups and individuals at all levels. With close interaction with many different groups and teams, some light travel is required. This position is within the Digital Marketing Solutions group and will report into the CRM Manager.

The responsibilities of the Email Marketing Specialist will include:

Provide strategic email campaign and communication reports for stakeholders to recommend improvements, enhancements and testing strategies for future campaigns
Act as central point person for ExactTarget in house client support and service phone calls and emails
Available for assistance in setting up emails and landing pages in platform, including input of HTML code, uploading of graphics, setup of personalized URLs
Develop and introduce campaign testing standards for process, workflow and analysis - a/b testing and introducing multivariate testing
Project manage any needed integration with systems as well as execution of advanced features such as triggered emails as part of digital marketing program development
Assist marketing groups with email program development based on customer life cycle
Manage web based Send Request Queue – proofing; traffic management
Proactively set up quarterly meetings with account manager – discuss product roadmap, best practices, questions
Manage email marketing articles in internal digital marketing knowledge base
Monitor deliverability of emails campaigns and communications
Plan and execute QA process for all landing pages as part of email campaigns
Keep central trainer up to date on any new features and act as back up trainer as needed

Required Skills/Knowledge:

Strong HTML skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects - Good planning and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Able to work effectively across functional groups and among internal users of all levels

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Experience Needed:

Minimum of 2+ years full time work experience of actual email production using an ESP (ExactTarget a plus)

Must have experience assisting with online marketing campaigns

Direct marketing experience preferred

Experience or exposure to Customer Relationship Management applications a plus

Educational Background:

Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, MIS or related field
