As a highly curious, motivated digital media and marketing professional, you will utilize your in-depth understanding of this industry to help YourTango increase its: site traffic; user engagement and retention; social presence; distribution of its original video archive; as well as help YourTango establish a strong mobile presence and more.

The ideal candidate will understand and be motivated by the hands-on position this role offers at the nexus of marketing, product, dev/tech, biz dev, and editorial.

Your responsibilities:
- increase traffic to YourTango from a variety of sources (such as newsletters, organic search, partnerships, etc)
- help to increase YourTango’s social media presence in a big way
- recommend means to enhance user engagement and retention
- expand distribution of our innumerable original, high quality videos
- work with all divisions to achieve commercial goals
- recommend product enhancements that result in greater community participation

Required Skills & Experience
Is this you? We are looking for someone who possesses:
• 7+ years of digital marketing experience
• expertise in social media
• a proven track record for achieving explosive traffic growth and increasing user engagement
• an analytical mind with a strong facility using analytical tools
• the ability to provide creative solutions to problems
• excellent management skills and the ability to collaborate across all divisions
• an in-depth understanding of and natural curiosity in the rapidly evolving digital media landscape
• the ability and desire to work across divisions (ie editorial, sales, etc) and cross platform (ie video, mobile, desk top, etc)
• an entrepreneurial spirit: someone who is not afraid to try new things and not just think outside the box, but take actions that lead to transformative outcomes
• a passion for achieving tremendous results
