We are currently seeking a ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬Sales and Marketing Coordinator for our Meetings group of brands. This position is located in our Secaucus, NJ office. The Sales and Marketing Coordinator will provide administrative and sales support to on- and off-site sales and marketing staff in order to assist them in meeting goals and objectives in a timely, accurate, pleasant and professional manner.

•Communicate with advertisers and advertising agencies as required to assistant Regional Sales Managers.
•Assist Meetings Group Marketing team with marketing initiatives.
•Prepare schedules and travel arrangements.
•Execute and input sales orders and all other required forms and paperwork to support sales activities.
•Review and screen incoming mail handling routine inquiries.
•Follow up on requests initiated through correspondence and/or phone calls.
•Prepare and/or draft proposals, mailings, email blasts, correspondence, memos, letters and sales reports.
•Set up and maintain department files
•Administer or coordinate special projects as deemed necessary

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
College degree in business or closely related field required. Prior experience in sales or markeitng departments is required. Experience with media, the travel industry, and/or advertising sales is ideal.

A high level of proficiency is required in the following areas: Typing (60+WPM), exceptional telephone skills, communication skills, organizational and coordination skills. Computer experience with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) as well as experience with contact management software.

This job requires a high degree of professionalism. Our standard work-week is 35 hours but occassional overtime and travel are required.
